While you might have to deal with some heat throughout the summer, the outdoor wedding sites at PGA West always tend to be a popular choice! Those looking to get married at the Pete Dye course will have two available outdoor sites for their party. 

Pete Dye Range: This is the smaller of the two sites, but it’s no less grand! This area puts you up close and personal with the Santa Rosa Mountains, giving you a bit of rugged majesty in the backdrop of all of your photos. You can exchange your vows on the green grass before your guests are dismissed to enjoy some cocktails. The venue will work to transform your site so your guests are ready for a night beneath the stars! The Pete Dye Range can hold up to 300 people for a ceremony and 200 for a reception. 

Pete Dye Putting Green: This site packs a bit of everything across its space. Of course, you have the gorgeous views of the Santa Rosas, but you also have the open putting green with glistening water that will add a bit more texture to your backdrop. The flat lawn is the ideal option for a bright and colorful arch that contrasts the mountains just behind you. This area is able to accommodate up to 400 guests for your ceremony and 300 for your reception.

If you do want an indoor space throughout your day, you are going to love the Pete Dye Clubhouse. This place is authentically Palm Springs with a Hacienda-style clubhouse surrounded by the scenic course. The exterior is outfitted with natural elements like stone and wood, while the interior features white walls and wooden beams that work seamlessly across most wedding styles. You will additionally have a private terrace overlooking the mountains so your guests can take in all the views throughout your cocktail hour. This area is able to accommodate up to 275 guests and tends to be a good option for a reception.

Photography Opportunities

Speaking of proposals, I recently was asked to shoot one right here on the grounds, and it was nothing short of a dream! Chris is an avid golfer, while Alexa loves nothing more than a life by the pool. Of course, the Pete Dye Mountain Course in the midst of Palm Springs was the perfect spot for the two of them! During the day, we took a few photos out on the green with the mountains behind the two.

Then, he dropped to one knee, and the rest was history! After she had a brand new ring on her finger, we spent the day taking pictures with them walking down green-lined paths, sharing a kiss by the water, and drinking some champagne in the clubhouse. It was an unforgettable day elevated by picture-perfect views!
