PALM SPRINGS WEDDING – CREE ESTATE – JACLYN + JAMESON

May 11, 2016

Jaclyn and Jameson wanted to have a wedding that was memorable to everyone that attended. With 10 years in the making, everyone was so anxious with anticipation on when these two would finally tie the knot. They planned a DIY Palm Springs Wedding all the way from British Columbia!

For Jaclyn the wedding was a chance for family and friends to be all in once place, celebrating life together. For Jameson, it was finally having the chance to profess his perfectionist love to Jaclyn in front of family. Now don’t get me wrong, the days leading up to the wedding, it was fiesta night, pool party bash during the day, and having a blast in Palm Springs.

Come the day of the wedding, I arrive at the gorgeous Cree Estate in Palm Springs. A rustic, ranchero feel, with tons of character. Jameson and his boys are at the pool soaking up the sun.
Jaclyn and her girls are inside with A/C cooling off from the desert heat. The weather was a cool 80 degrees all week, come their wedding day 92! So having A/C was a must!

Before the ceremony Jaclyn and Jameson did a gift exchange. Jaclyn received etched pairing champagne flutes with their name and wedding date. Now I do have to say for a guy to get this for his bride, I’m impressed. This is normally something a bride would come up with, so for that fact alone, Jameson ROCKED IT! Jameson received a vintage time piece. A pocket watch that still tells the time. Don’t be fooled by the suit with Jameson, he is traditionally a creative and stylish individual. So adding a vintage watch to his wardrobe, timeless!

Jaclyn was GORGEOUS in her Essence wedding gown. No look is complete without getting hair and make-up done by Chelsea Nicole! Not to mention the gorgeous bouquet made by Jensen’s. That’s right, her florals came from Jensen’s, can you believe it?

After the toast had been made and Jaclyn and Jameson had their first dance, I was in tears. So thankful to have the camera covering my face. The intimate and raw speeches that were made in Jaclyn and Jameson’s honor was so touching. Jaclyn and Jameson truly made me feel like part of the family on their wedding day. From sarcastic jokes, to funny faces, the three of us had a blast together. I wouldn’t of had it any other way. Thank you Jaclyn and Jameson for inviting me to be a part of your awesome family. I will never forget the generosity and humor you brought into my life.
