Palm Springs Wedding-Saguaro Hotel-Erika and Nate

Mar 24, 2020

“I wanted a wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends. With pop color everywhere to outwardly express the love and excitement we have for one another.” Erika envisioned her wedding day to be low-key, fun, and full of time with her man, Nate. A relationship built on a decade of being together. Going through ups and downs, and everything in-between. Erika and Nate’s love for Palm Springs and Mid-Century Modern vibes, led them to their venue, the Saguaro Hotel. Pop color walls surrounding the property with geometric elements and that classic Palm Springs patio-life vibe.

Erika’s inspiration for her wedding day was taking it all the way back to the 1960’s. Where Mid-Century Modern was all the rage, vacations that included backyard pool parties, and fashion that stands the test of time. Erika’s Unique Vintage dress paired with her Blush Daisy stockings, wow! Not to mention her beehive hairstyle be Winzer Hair Salon. Oh, and that Kat Von D makeup with the brightest prink lipstick, amazing! Nate on the other hand went for a classic rat-pack look. You can’t go wrong with a classic black and white tuxedo.

Surrounded by blue skies and palm trees, Erika and Nate committed their life together. After the vows and ring exchange the epic kiss and celebration began. Between the champagne toasting, polaroid taking, and sunset photos yielded the perfect day for Erika and Nate. You don’t always need to have a lavish event to feel the feeling of togetherness, love, and family. Sometimes taking a low-key approach to your wedding day can relieve the stress, anxiety, and tensions that come into play when planning such an occasion. The biggest inspiration to take away from their wedding day is that it’s okay to not envision a big over-the-top wedding day. Plan your wedding the way you want it, even if it turns out small. All that matters is the two of you and your love for one another, good food, and good company.
