About The Parker Palm Springs Wedding Venue
4200 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, California 92264
The Parker takes classic Palm Springs style and completely redefines it. Located on thirteen gorgeous acres, this hotel lets you escape into a world all of your own without taking you too far away from the adventure of the city. And while the grounds might feel legendary enough on their own, the history of this spot is absolutely iconic. This property was developed as the first Holiday Inn in California before Gene Autry himself scooped it up and used it for lodging for the LA Angels during spring training. It was eventually purchased by famous hotelier Jack Parker (note the name) and transformed into the grand center that we all know and love today!

Details of the Grounds
Okay, so enough about the history. Let’s talk about all the ways this hotel is going to make your wedding shine! Throughout your wedding week, you can book one of the 144 rooms and suites where you can camp out and prepare for the day. Have your rehearsal out in the yard, get spoiled in the spa, and hit up the swanky wine bar to drink away any pre-wedding jitters. Then, the morning of your wedding, you will have a colorful space where you can gather with your party and get ready for your wedding day. If you do snag one of the villas, you will have a living room, a kitchen, and a patio that you can use throughout this time.

Once it’s time for your ceremony, you can choose from several lawns and courtyards. For those who really want to embrace the desert feel, you might want to check out the Amphitheater. This unique space offers a concrete circle in the center with stone tiers surrounding it. You can walk down the paved aisle and say your vows while those closest to you look on from all around. Want something a little more upscale? Then you can try out the Ballroom Lawn, where you can fit up to 200 guests for a ceremony. Here, your wedding can take place out in the lush lawn surrounded by palm trees and hedges. Additionally, they offer the Gene Autry Lawn, the Palm Court, and the Mafiya Lawn.

Cocktail Hour And Wedding Receptions At The Parker Palm Springs
This hotel has a few spots I really love for your cocktail hour. One of my favorites is the Lemonade Stand. This outdoor bar feels like classic Palm Springs with a yellow striped awning, colorful barstools, and tables covered by yellow umbrellas. You can also use the Croquet Lawn for this portion and enjoy a friendly round or two before it’s time for your reception.

Once dinner time rolls around, you can choose between indoor and outdoor reception spaces. If you want to host this time outside, you can use the ceremony locations. If you want to head inside, you can use the Grand Ballroom, which can host up to 400 guests. Trust me, this spot was not lying about the whole “grand” thing, either. With towering ceilings, pine-wrapped walls, and statement lighting, you are going to have plenty of space to party with your guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows continue to let in the view while the customizable dance floor gives you the best way to show off your moves throughout the night.

For those who want something a little more intimate, you might want to consider renting out one of the restaurants. The largest is Norma’s with enough space for up to 120 guests. You can also opt for mister parker’s (with space for 70) or Counter Reformation (room for 50).

Photography Opportunities
As a photographer, I simply have to tell you about all the gorgeous spots you can use for your wedding portraits. This space is a color-lover’s dream with vivid shades throughout every inch of the hotel. As you get ready with your party, we’ll make sure to grab plenty of candid pictures around your quarters as well as some outside on the patio. The poolside is the best space to get some stylish, editorial pictures with your SO. Go grab a cocktail from the bar and raise a toast as you look forward to a bright future together. From there, we can use all the walkways and carefully landscaped grounds for romantic pics. And of course, the white lattice-work exterior is key for people looking for the classic mid-century modern vibe for their backdrops.

Wedding Details
With The Parker, you will have several options available for your wedding day. Many couples choose to go really extravagant and rent out the entire hotel. With this option, you are going to get your choice of room (including the Gene Autry House!), and you won’t have to worry about any wedding crashers throughout your wedding weekend. Your guests will have the time of their lives feeling pampered before your big day. The hotel is also going to take care of all the food and drinks, offering you a rich menu full of dishes you will be talking about for the rest of your life. And as if all this wasn’t enough, you are going to have valet parking to really seal the deal.
