There is a lot of responsibility and expectations (thank to movies and social media) that comes with being a Maid of Honor (MOH). From styled photos that we see on Instagram to the movie Bridesmaids. For Jessica it was surprising the bride with not only a bachelorette weekend in Palm Springs but a photo-shoot before all the girls went out for a night on the town!

Jessica did such an amazing job making sure that the rest of the group, including the bride, had no idea that a photo-shoot was scheduled. As soon as I rang the doorbell at their Airbnb property, Jessica snuck me into the backyard where there were multiple balloons spelling “MRS”. All of the girls were rounded up outside and Jordan (the bride) began to scream and shout. So excited that I had come to document their time in Palm Springs.

From tears, laughter, and inside-jokes, the group of girls had so much fun getting their photos taken. So much so that Jordan began to take control of the situation. Wanting a fun lifestyle portrait of her in the hammock with her shades on. To getting the group together showing their best poses and faces.

Getting bachelorette party photos before going out is becoming a very popular trend. One that I am truly in love with! It’s such a great idea to get awesome photos of everyone dressed up before the dining, dancing, and drinking begins! Otherwise you could be in for a Hangover styled shoot. Which I think for most of us is completely out of the question!
