What do you get with Tequila, flamingo decor, and a Palm Springs Airbnb rental? A destination bachelorette party! When Whitney reached out to me she wanted to do something special for Taylor (the bride-to-be)! She wanted to make sure that we could capture the memories of having all the girls in one place, looking amazing, before their big night out in Palm Springs. I was so fortunate to be the one to capture their time together.
Lounging by the pool, helping each other with make-up and hair, all while having time to throw some gold confetti around (because why not). Taylor had no idea that a photographer had been hired to capture her special moment with all of her best friends. She was so flattered and taken back by the surprise that she almost knew something had to be up, but wasn’t quite sure what that surprise would be.
From matching t-shirts to cut off jeans. Colorful dresses and gold confetti, it was a fun private estate event thanks to Airbnb. Staying off the main strip of downtown Palm Springs in a mid-century modern home really made a nice touch for the girls. With all of them being from Dallas, Texas, this was a nice change of scenery. Up close and personal with the beautiful San Jacinto mountains, Palm Trees, and a happening downtown scene that made the night so special for Taylor. Going to TRIO for dinner and dancing the night away at Zelda’s made it the perfect bachelorette party for Taylor. Being with her closest girlfriends, sharing stories, and dancing the night away.
A destination bachelorette party is becoming the new hot trend for the bride-to-be. Especially if you have a group of girls together to pull their resources to make a fun weekend getaway. Whitney made sure to look at Pinterest and research decor and detail ideas for the weekend. From matching goblets, t-shirts, and a full bar, who wouldn’t want to go and lounge by the pool!
One of the coolest outcomes of doing a bachelorette photo-shoot is that you can then turn around and use the photos as bridesmaids gifts. Maybe put them in a frame with a personal note, add some bling, in a cute monogramed wooden box. You are good to go!
