Fleur Noire Hotel might be one of the newest Palm Springs wedding venues, but it has wasted no time in making itself known. This boutique hotel gives you immaculate pool vibes throughout every second of your wedding. As a Palm Springs wedding photographer, I got to shoot the very first wedding at this hotel when it opened. Now, I’m here to tell you what you can expect when you book a Fleur Noire Hotel wedding!

About The Fleur Noire Hotel Wedding Venue
1555 Indian Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, California 92262
Vibrant yet chic, bold yet sophisticated, Fleur Noire Hotel perfectly embodies the spirit of Palm Springs. Located right next to the up-and-coming Uptown Design District, this hotel first opened their doors in 2021. Right from the beginning, they designed this to be a haven for the creative soul. They hired LA-based artist, Louise Jones (also known as Ouizi), to paint murals across the exterior of the hotel. Meanwhile, the inside of the rooms hosts wallpaper designs from designer Ellie Cashman. As a result, every inch of this space is exploding with color! It’s the perfect wedding spot for a couple who never blends into the crowd!

Details of the Grounds
When I worked with Kevin and Katie on their wedding, things kicked off in the hotel rooms where the two got ready with their respective parties. I loved the rooms because they were simple yet chic. The white walls are accented with brass fixtures while cream-colored macrame adds the perfect amount of texture. Because Katie chose the most wonderfully bright color palette, we were able to show off her look without having to battle against the interiors. Meanwhile, the exterior murals were the ideal backdrop as Kevin relaxed with his groomsmen.

Then, it was time for their ceremony to start. Kevin and Katie had worked with planner Lola Kent to orchestrate the details. Together, they had chosen the courtyard for this part of their wedding. Nestled right along the side of the hotel, this area combines the artistic spirit of Fleur Noire with the iconic landscape of Palm Springs for a truly legendary backdrop. The courtyard itself is rather simple, with solid black cement walls adding privacy. The ground is paved, and there have been cacti planted throughout. Their colors stood out brilliantly over here!

Poolside Cocktails And Courtyard Receptions At Fleur Noire Hotel
Before their reception kicked off, their guests gathered around for a poolside cocktail hour. The couple had very thoughtfully provided pashminas to help with the unexpectedly cool Palm Springs evening. Yes, it was a sweet gesture, but it also gave us some pretty great photo ops. It was a total win/win!

Then, it was time to party late into the night. Things started out with catering through Eight4Nine. The food was as beautiful as it was delicious, giving the guests the fuel they needed for an evening full of dancing! The courtyard is rather narrow, letting you set up long tables throughout the main area for the feeling of an intimate dinner party. There are young trees that offer a little added shade, while the desert plants on either side tie in the location beautifully.

You also get some of the best views of the murals, giving you dreamy backdrops throughout every second of your celebration. Once you are done eating, you can head to the front of the area, where you will have plenty of room for partying. They will also give you the choice to add a dance floor. Fleur Noire Hotel specializes in intimate weddings with fewer than 75 guests.

Photography Opportunities
As a photographer who loves bold and cheerful colors, I was in heaven as I worked at this location! As Katie got ready with her party, I spent plenty of time documenting the accents, such as her jewelry and her amazing, floral Christian Louboutin heels. I also made sure to use the brass ginkgo leaf coat hooks to show off her dress.

The exterior was the ideal spot to grab some candid pics with Kevin and his party. Before it was time for them to get ready, they spent some time relaxing by the pool. We then headed to the courtyard to get more formal pictures of the party.
The pair did their first look pictures just outside the rooms with the murals in the backdrop. From there, we went to the edge of the property to get some pics with the mountains in the background.

The murals continued to be the true star throughout formal pics with their families. I was in love with all the color they brought to every picture. We also made sure to incorporate the pink and neon of the outdoor bar!

Wedding Details
Fleur Noire Hotel is here to give you a wedding you will never want to forget! The venue will work with you through every step of the planning process, guiding you through vendors, timelines, and layouts. When I worked with Kevin and Katie, they hired a caterer to take care of their meals. Currently, the hotel is working to add permanent food trucks that can provide you with on-site meals.

The hotel lets you buy out the entire site to use throughout your wedding weekend. With this option, you will have up to 21 rooms for your guests. Throughout your week, they will be able to enjoy amenities like free parking, plus they can enjoy a continental breakfast each morning. You will be close to some of the best restaurants in all of Palm Springs, offering everything from burgers to sushi. The hotel is adult-only, requiring all overnight guests to be over the age of 21.
