Details of the Grounds
Christopher and Stephanie invited me to document their Resorts World rooftop wedding, and spoiler alert, it was a total dream! The pair had worked with Tara Marie Events to take their vision and make it a reality. The morning of their wedding, the pair stayed in separate Resorts World rooms and got ready with their respective wedding parties. Stephanie spent a few hours getting spoiled by the team at Vegas Makeup Artistry as her team sipped on champagne. Not only did the hotel rooms give them tons of room to relax with their friends and family, but the windows let in spectacular views of the surrounding city. And of course, we soaked up that natural lighting for their pictures!

This venue is able to host parties with up to 5,000 guests, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. Christopher and Stephanie decided to take full advantage of the mild October weather and held their wedding out on the rooftop. The colors throughout their late afternoon ceremony were truly spectacular as the setting sun turned the world vivid shades of pink and blue. Truly, the space didn’t need much decoration, but their lush flower arrangements from Blooms by Sirce breathed a little extra life into the view. The venue also had string lights across the area, adding a touch of romance.

A Beautiful Resorts World Wedding Reception In The Same Place
The pair said their I dos, and we remained on the rooftop to take their portraits while their guests enjoyed some light refreshments. The space was then converted for their reception as the Vegas nightlife began. While the daytime made the atmosphere look nearly ethereal, the evening really gave us some classic Vegas backdrops. The hotels lit up in the background while the party danced for hours to music played by Choice Sound. It was vibrant and electric, just like this couple!

If you would prefer to have an indoor celebration, Resorts World has several event spaces you can choose from. Their ballrooms are modern and luxurious with neutral color palettes and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in all of the views. If your day gets a little too windy, they will work with you to pick an indoor spot as a backup option so you can still have your dream wedding, just without the vertigo.

Photography Opportunities
As a wedding photographer, I absolutely loved working at Resorts World. There were just so many picture-perfect backdrops we were able to use throughout. I already spoke a little about how the rooms were ideal for candid pictures, but they were also great for more formal portraits. The color palette was neutral, while the huge windows let us showcase Stephanie’s finished look.

The pair chose to have their first look portraits outside on the terrace. This is always my favorite part of the day, and it did not disappoint! As Christopher admired his bride-to-be, I used the towering hedges as a lush backdrop. Then, we went around the lounge, using the bar for their portraits together.

For their formal portraits, I loved using the rooftop! This space is very flat and accessible, giving you the perfect way to share this moment with all your friends and family. Trust me, the golden hour up here is truly unmatched!

Wedding Details
Resorts World features luxury hotels, and as such, they are going to make sure you feel positively pampered throughout your entire wedding weekend. They will provide your guests with room blocks so everyone has a cozy spot to crash after the party is over. The hotel is also going to give you all the necessary supplies, including tables, chairs, a dance floor, and audio equipment. Throughout your celebration, your guests will have on-site parking as well as a valet service. By the way, many of the rooms are pet-friendly, and the hotel has child care if you choose to have an adult-only party.
