As a Palm Springs wedding photographer, I was asked to come out to this location and document Frank and Connor’s dream wedding. About The Ponte Winery Wedding Venue

Ponte Winery is located on 300 acres, making them one of the largest wineries and wedding venues in all of Temecula. The owners started farming the land in 1984, and around 2003, they started to use it as a winery. They have learned quite a bit over the years, utilizing the very latest viticulture methods to ensure they can continue to produce high-quality products while keeping sustainability at the heart of all they do. 

While this center is definitely passionate about their wine, it’s their events that have won over so many couples. They take the same obsession with their weddings as they do with all their other products, giving you a day you will never, ever forget. Get ready for world-class services as well as drop-dead gorgeous views when you choose this spot for your wedding day! 

Details of the Grounds

Connor and Frank chose Ponte Winery for their wedding and worked with Michelle Garibay Events to plan it. From the second I arrived, I knew I was in for an incredible day! The morning of their wedding, the two got ready in their own private spaces alongside their respective wedding parties. The winery has an inn with spacious rooms ready to host this part of your wedding day. You can wake up, sip some mimosas, and make memories before it’s time for your ceremony. They took their first look portraits outside in front of the ivy-draped walls and spent some time together toasting to the future! 

From there, it was time for their ceremony. The two picked the Vineyard View Garden at Ponte Winery for this part. It was positively perfect with open fields that showed off the mountains in the backdrop. They exchanged their vows beneath the pergola outfitted in flowers woven together by the team behind Soiree Floral Design. I positively adored how much their spring-inspired colors stood out against the backdrop!

After Their Ponte Winery Wedding Ceremony

Following their wedding, their guests headed outside Ponte Winery, where they enjoyed cocktails from the BreLuxe Dapper Bar on the patio. The pair had brought in lawn games from Bailey’s Garden Party, and as they took their formal pics, their friends played rounds of Connect Four before relaxing on the patio furniture. 

From there, it was time for the reception to begin. This took place inside the Vineyard Pavilion, a large yet gorgeous hall with enough space for up to 200 guests. This area is a bit of a blank space with beige walls, large windows, and a cathedral ceiling covered with dark wooden beams. The pair chose to hang disco balls between the chandeliers, bringing their own fun touch to the elevated decor. The tables were outfitted with decorations rented from Hostess Haven, bringing their vivid colors into the neutral space. 

From there, it was time for hours upon hours of dancing. Luckily, they had DJ Keelez there to help them out! Their guests had the time of their lives celebrating and singing along before it was time to cut the breathtaking cake made by Laura Marie Cakes. As the sun set, Brilliant Event Lighting kept things going while the rentals from Jake Duke Studios made every second of the celebration seamless. 

Photography Opportunities

As a wedding photographer who lives for bright colors, I went a little wild throughout this Ponte Winery celebration! I was partnered with Amari Productions, who took all the videography throughout this event. The exterior of this venue was perfect for their individual portraits as well as their couple pics. The ivy-covered walls are absolutely timeless, adding an additional layer of lushness amidst the green vineyards. We also used the exterior of the hotel for their formal pictures. The tiled staircases added some colors while the tiered steps ensured we could include every member of the family. Once they finished exchanging their vows, we walked alongside the gardens, using the green pergolas and scenic trails for candid pics celebrating the two!

When I say Ponte Winery is going to spoil you on your wedding day, I mean it! Throughout your wedding weekend, you will be able to book a stay at their inn. All of their produce has been locally sourced for an eco-friendly, fresh experience your guests are going to chat about for years to come! The winery can provide you with everything you need, including linens, chairs, tables, glassware, and barware. Many of their staff members speak both English and Spanish to ensure all of your guests have the care they deserve. Oh, and this spot is dog-friendly, so no one has to miss out!
